Launching in 2017, SCE will undergo a major transition in its programming using the concept of assisting and enabling 10 people/ families/ kids in whatever way available through its various offerings. This business element is designed to ensure maximum impact is achieved using limited resources.
Current Power of 10 programs include:
- 10 families in the Slovo Park Settlement receive assistance with food parcels and clothing donations, stationery for school, etc on a monthly basis
- Skillz Dev: Assistance given to 10 candidates to undergo a course of their choice offered at the FWC Skills Development Centre. SCE will assist with payment registration, offering support during the duration of the program. This will include stationery and other needs as required.
