They say dynamite comes in small packages and Naomi certainly embodies this in her personality. A fire- ball of energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for women and differently-abled individuals. CONECKT is a Social Enterprise company that uses technology to develop different platforms to connect and network with Corporates, Donors, Charities and NPO’s. They are involved with unique fundraising initiatives and assisting Organisations to become sustainable. Job creation and employment opportunities is another key focus area, utilizing upcycled waste products for sustainable revenue income.
What we simply love about CONECKT is their clear recognition that NPO’s cannot work in isolation. This shared value is expressed through collaboration in various ways such as sharing resources, information and support structures in the form of partnerships. We have hosted several of their YES programme interns for development as Play Facilitators as well as work experience within this sector, providing training and development, personal growth and “On The Job” experience through programmes at the Toy Library. Connecting the dots as we are all referred to, makes for a dynamic and supportive collective of people making a difference across South Africa in so many ways.
